Chicago Brass Works aspirations to provide our customers
trumpets, accessories, and services held to high standards wish to provide
the CBW Policy Declaration as both a guideline for us and well as our customers.
To Place an Order
To be put on our order list, The customer agrees to
pay the full published price including shipping and insurance to Chicago
Brass Works as a pre-trial purchase prior to receiving their trial instrument
and activation of the trial period. 50% down is required to place the order
and the balance is due upon completion prior to shipping. Prices are subject
to change without notice.

Delivery Schedule
Each instrument will be built with an estimated time
of completion given to each customer. Each Chicago Brass Works Trumpet is
hand built one at a time to high standards and requires many tests using
analyzation methods and process used exclusively by CBW to ensure each instrument
meets not only your expectations but ours as well. We will strive to meet
you delivery date but please understand we will not hasten the building process
to meet a deadline at the expense of providing our customers an instrument
that does not meet standards.
TRIAL PERIOD
The trial period of one week, starting from the time
the customer receives the instrument as established by United Parcels Service
tracking records of date and time delivery of said instrument. If changes
in the instrument are needed, you must state the desired changes to us by
phone within the one week trial period. Such changes will be made without
charge. Such changes may be made after the one week trial period, but will
be charged at current shop rate if notification has not been established
within the trial period of one week.
There is no problem if the customer should decide to
return the instrument for a refund. It must be done within 3 business days
after the initial trial period is over using United Parcel Service Tracking
records to set time and date as the beginning of the trial period. This is
the customer responsibility to return the instrument as stated in this policy
and provide postage and insurance that guarantees the trumpet is returned
within the set time. No refunds will be made after the one week trial period.
In the event the customer elects to return the horn,
the following procedures must be followed.
A. Customer
must exercise the option to return before 5:00 PM Central Time on the (7th)
seventh day of the trial period.
B.
Customer must call and request a return authorization number.
C. Customer
agrees to prepare the trumpet for shipping by repackaging the trumpet in
the original case or box and original shipping container.
D. Customer
agrees to provide access to the trumpet in it's shipping container at the
time of pickup by the delivery company.
E. Customer
must sign the return form and enter the return authorization number in the
space provided on the form. The form must be placed inside the trumpet case
prior to returning the horn.
F.
Chicago Brass Works agrees to inspect the horn upon it's return
and inform the customer as soon as practicable of any physical damage discovered
that is not the result of shipping. Customer agrees to be fully responsible
for any and all physical damage while the horn is in their possession. Customer
further agrees that any physical damage other than shipping will constitute
a nullification of the trial return option agreement and the customer assumes
full ownership of the trumpet at the full retail price. Customer further
understands that no refund will be granted in the event the horn is returned
with any physical damage not considered to be damage in shipping.
G.
Chicago Brass Works agrees to refund the full purchase amount
less the following costs and when all of the previously described conditions
are met.
Return costs:
Upon passing the return inspection, we will issue a
refund for the full amount less:
All credit card charges, Including Merchant credit
card charges.
Cost of the original shipping and insurance
Cancellation, Sanitation
and restocking fees
You can cancel the order within 10 days upon placing your order.
after that the following applies:
Raw Brass Horns = 5% of purchase Price
Silver Plate horns= 5% of Purchase Price
